August 9. Past the North Douglas Boat Ramp. The Juneau Alpine Club is having our meeting outside tomorrow evening. NOT at the Island Pub. The calendar is empty and we should fix that. Our next monthly meeting is going to be somewhat different than other meetings because it’s going to be sunny tomorrow evening so we are meeting along the side of the road past the North Douglas boat ramp at 6:30 PM. We will plan upcoming climbs and hikes. Bring stuff to drink or eat if you want. All are welcome. Come with ideas or to meet other mountaineering folks. Look for Carl and if you don’t know me, call or text 723-9323. I plan to look for a nice spot to build a fire.
