Tuesday December 16: Glacier and mountaineering skills practice. This will be indoors at the Rock Dump. This event will happen at 5:30 pm to when ever, rain or shine. We will go over ascending a rope with prussics, knots, maybe traveling a fixed line and can try to answer questions from previous sessions. Anyone who was at the last session bring the prussics you tied and we’ll test them out. If you don’t have prussics bring 20 feet of 6mm cord and we’ll set you up. 6 mm cord is available at Foggy Mountain http://www.foggymountainshop.com. You will need a harness and two locking carabiners in addition to the prussics.
If you plan on attending or if you have any questions, contact Pete Boyd, email@example.com before participating; don’t just show up. Pete needs at least 2 people to confirm they will show up.
